Across the Way by Cary Galbraith Image: This piece was painted at The Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford Pennsylvania. Artists were invited to paint the outdoors from indoors looking through the huge glass walls overlooking the Brandywine River. This is an excellent opportunity for me because I am opposed to the cold. I would love to paint plein air snow scenes however I can’t unless I’m inside looking out. There was no snow this day in February so I painted what I saw, looking across the river to the woods beyond.
