Artist: Jamie Morse
Jamie Morse graduated from Philadelphia College of Art with a BFA in Painting and has been painting professionally for over thirty years. He has taught art, photography, and art history at Hathaway Brown School since 1983. He is currently Chair of the Visual Arts Department at Hathaway Brown. Jamie divides his painting career between Cleveland, Southern Florida, and New England. He has shown his work extensively in Cleveland, Philadelphia and Massachusetts, including solo shows at Tregoning & Co., Chelsea Galleries, Mandel Jewish Community Center, the Cleveland Playhouse, and the Cahoon Museum of American Art. He also has shown in numerous group shows in both Cleveland and New England, including the May Show at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Additionally, he has served as juror for many shows. He has won numerous awards for his work and has paintings in many prominent collections.
