Bonnie Dolin creates visual landscapes featuring city skylines, urban denizens and suburban neighborhoods. “I had to drive a lot to get to my studio, throughout fields, big skies, city skylines and then into an urban area with small houses that reminded me of the small houses in Provincetown where I had spent a lot of time” noted Dolin. Influenced by her commute from a suburban setting to her art studio in downtown Cleveland she noted the changing light and the contrast between the wide open spaces and the city. She chooses bright and vibrant pastels and oil paint as her medium.
Ms. Dolin’s work is displayed in selected group exhibitions at art collections at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Progressive Corporation, Baker Hostetler and more.
