My husband and I have visited Israel multiple times and have visited the Western Wall ( also called the "Wailing Wall") . The Western Wall is the only surviving structure of the retaining wall of the Temple Mount-the Second Holy Temple - which was destroyed in 70CE. Jews have come to the Wall since the Second Temple's destruction, leaving notes and prayers, pleas and requests for blessings, to the Almighty. I put the Wall and the National Flower of Israel in these first prints of mine.
