Artist's Statement
In my travels to LA to visit my family there, we went on an excursion to the beautiful Huntington Gardens. It was an awesome and awe-inspiring time for me! Everywhere I looked there were gorgeous flowers perfect for painting. Like in 'Alice in Wonderland' I found myself painting the "flowers" red and wondering what was real and what was just my imagination.
