I first did a portrait of Michaela while I was still a student at the Atelier School of Fine Arts. She was an excellent model and contributed her own ideas to the composition.

I hope this portrait conveys a sense of a beautiful young woman’s joy. She was walking along a beach, next to her beloved, the man she was soon to marry.
