A good friend of mine showed me views from her backyard all around or not far from my house and neighborhood. Sighting wildlife on the land, such as deer, foxes, and coyotes, and in the area lakes and ponds, such as geese and ducks, is an everyday yet exciting experience. It's a beautiful place to live. In this piece, I painted a family of geese out for a swim on the pond. (The title of the painting is reminiscent of a favorite children's book loved by me and then my kids.)
