Esther, who lives in Panama, is a close friend of my daughter, who worked in Panama City for a year. This painting recalls one of several evenings I spent with my daughter and Esther during a visit I made that year to Panama City.
In both movement and speech, Esther is always graceful. The context does not matter. Whether in an upscale restaurant or walking down a run-of-the-mill street, she is, without effort or ego, a beautiful presence.
