This piece emerged in a single sitting, unplanned and urgent—a translation of soul to color. Working only with a palette knife, I followed instinct over form, layering ROYGBIV hues until they hummed with the same vibration I felt in my subject's soul. Each stroke is a pulse. I didn’t sketch or edit; I listened. The painting carries his contradictions—tender and wild, grounded and untamed—and in making it, I discovered how art can witness a being without trying to solve anything.
