Sea Wall Stories
Photographing the new Broomhill Sands Coastal Defence Scheme at Camber Sands is an evolving project. The defence scheme cover 2.4 miles of coast and reduces flood risk taking into account rising sea levels. The project was completed by the environment agency in December 2015.
As man wrestles with nature and climatic changes, so nature continues to play its part.
The influences of both man and nature upon the new concrete surfaces are being recorded, creating new narratives in the series ‘Sea Wall Stories’.
