Contemporary and Abstract Design – A Reason to Live
This piece was designed and woven during the Pandemic, and it was finally given its finishing treatment in 2023. The years during the Pandemic were very hard for many people. Thankfully, my circumstances were not dire, but I began to think about others who might not be so lucky. During my daily walks, I have lots of time to think and contemplate, a kind of meditation, if you will. This phrase came to me during one of my walks and kept echoing in my mind until I returned to the studio and named the piece I was working on. It felt so fitting!
