During a visit to the Vasco da Gama Aquarium, Lisbon, Portugal, I was amused by the carp that came to people and I took several pictures. The colors, the water, the transparency and the bubbles made me want to take on the challenge of doing this painting. It took about 4 months to run.
«The carps» painting was exhibited at the exhibition «III Edition of the Infante D. Luís à Artes Award», at the Municipal Library of Salvaterra de Magos, Portugal, from September 22, 2018 to October 31, 2018, and received a Mention Honorable.
