Studies in the forest seem daunting. Who could add anything more to the work done by British Columbia Artists? Can there be any original approach now?
Outdoors, I become more myself. More expanded. But I have yet to sit in the woods to work since I camped at Fairy Creek Blockade.

I have decided to take the next six months to investigate my relationship to the natural world through my skills in paint and pixels. Ideally, I would like to bring nature into the rooms that the forest’s wood creates.
