Military Inspired Art (M.I.A.) 2022

For over 100 years, African Americans have made contributions to the defense of the United States of America, and for centuries have made a lasting impression in the World of Art. There is no doubt that times of war had and still has a major influence on Art. What may not be known to the masses is that some of our men and women in the armed forces are also artists. To pay homage to the bravery, heroism and artistry; Military Inspired Art “MIA” creates an atmosphere where veterans, active-duty men and women can showcase their talents off the battlefield along with other modern and contemporary artist who may have been influenced by the military.
