1LT Will Sharp retired from the US Army in October of 2014; after serving in the US Army Military Police Corps for 26 years (1988 - 2014).

He is a combat veteran and disabled veteran who fought in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, OIF and OEF. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, ARCOM (5 OLC), Army Superior Unit Award and the Meritorious Unit Award; among other awards. He served multiple tours overseas in Germany, one tour in Korea; and stateside at numerous bases including Fort Bragg, Fort Benning, Fort Riley, Fort Leslie J McNair (WDC) and Fort Campbell. He is a proud Mustang (Graduate of the Officer Candidate School), MPCCC, and an Airborne Paratrooper. Will is an Artist/illustrator who specializes in portraiture, and military themed artwork using watercolor, gouache, pencil, pen & ink and mixed media as his primary mediums.

He is interested in capturing the emotion and lived experiences of Servicemen and Servicewomen (especially individual’s whose voices have been historically marginalized and overlooked).

Will is a native of East Petersburg, PA; a small town nestled in the rolling hills of scenic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
