There are a number of paintings I've been working recently with animals in some kind of movement, which is purely intentional.
On a personal level, this represents a moving away from past stagnation or frustration, outdated modes, etc. and/or moving toward something else, such as new ideas.
On a broader level, the idea of movement seems to fit the general sense of malaise, a feeling of needing to keep moving or to escape/flee.
