Fort Bragg California is one of my favorite locations for plein air painting. For the last six years I have gone for five days of painting in the area with a group of artist friends. Typically I stay at a hotel on the cliff above the Harbor. The scene is beautiful anytime day or night, but the lights at night are particularly striking. This painting is my attempt to capture that striking view.
