This shed and the creek are on the boundary the small ranch of artist friend Ruth Andre and her husband Tom east of the Gold Rush Town of Sutter Creek. I painted with Ruth and artist Julie Trail on a spring day. Using photos and my plein air painting as reference material, I painted this studio version of the scene.
