I have been an active professional photographer for over thirty years since moving to Southern California from England . It has been the perfect medium for me to express my wonder for, and fascination with, the beauty to be found in both the natural and manmade world we live in. The camera lens not only focuses the image but the eye of the viewer. This new awareness can isolate the elements in view and declutter them from their surroundings, revealing a new understanding and appreciation of their part in nature. I hope, through my interpretations and viewpoint, to bring a fresh awareness of the things hat surround us, both epic in scale or tiny and seemingly mundane. When suitably enlarged both can make stunning creative graphics!
I have also been privileged to work with very talented architects and interior designers throughout the U.S.A., interpreting their visions for the world we live in. I feel grateful that my images have helped win many A.I.A. and A.S.I.D. awards, and I include a gallery for a brief overview of my work. There are no AI artificial elements in my images. A few of them are composite images, but everything in them has been photographed by me and are solely my creative output. I like my work to be presented in vivid, long lasting aluminum print form, which floats, frameless, on the wall, as do canvas prints. Fine Art archival prints and regular prints are also an option.
