I work primarily with acrylic on canvas, using painting as a way to explore the fluid relationship between time, transition, and inner working models. My practice is rooted in reflection—how internal landscapes shift as we move through different phases of life, loss, and becoming.

I began painting, and continue to paint, in honor of my grandmother, Garnzella Tinsley, and her life and transition. Her presence and passing shape the emotional foundation of my work. Painting became a way to process change, memory, and the quiet transformations that occur beneath the surface of lived experience.

My process is intuitive and layered, allowing forms and colors to evolve organically. I am drawn to movement and softness within the composition, reflecting the non-linear nature of time and emotional transition. Each layer holds traces of what came before, mirroring how past experiences inform present understanding.

Through my work, I aim to create space for contemplation—inviting viewers to consider their own inner frameworks, transitions, and relationships with time.
