There’s a wonder in those vast views of the mountains that nourishes me, easing worries and opening space for gratitude. Walks in the woods, late evening skies, trails with sweeping vistas, and streams with rocks to hop across — these moments speak deeply to me and continually call me back to the canvas.

As a child growing up in Ohio, some of my favorite memories were the road trips we took to the Carolina mountains. We camped, played in the woods, explored mountain streams, and sang by the fire under the stars. Those memories still fuel my work today, helping me rediscover the timeless gifts the mountains offer us all.
