My paintings are an attempt to bridge the gap, the gray space between dreams, memories, and reality. I have intentionally left much of my work open for interpretation.
No Better Place because it requires you to complete the experience. It's your place.
My goal is that you find in these paintings places that you would like to be in your mind—not a physical location. They are here to connect you to something outside the daily grind, a place that you have been, a waking daydream that brings you peace and solace. If you can feel what it's like to be here, smell the ocean breeze, and lose yourself in the moment—then I have succeeded in some small way.
I hope you find the pictures transportive, a place to rest from the commotion and interruptions of a modern life.
