This was one of those paintings that appeared in my imagination. The story of the Anasazi and Pueblo people is one covering thousands of years. How can I possibly express that vast span of time and traditions? I did my best, trying to be true to the clues of the history of people living here before the supposed birth of Christianity. We are here for an instant, and time and place are fungible to these people of the ancients.
