This barn hopefully still stands in Oakridge, OR. I had passed this barn a few times while I was judging a Plein Air show in Roseburg. On my final pass on the highway, I was ready with my camera and snapped away. It was many years before I took the time to paint this scene, and I suppose the time came when it became more apparent when my family farm was sold. Since then I have created several rural scenes to ground me.
