At the eastern-most point in North America you will find the lighthouse at Cape Spear. It is also the windiest location on the east coast of Newfoundland., and we visited on the windiest day. Were there rain like on the west coast of Canada, it could have carried me up and away. An umbrella here is a dare indeed.
