In 2010, the city of Nashville suffered a catastrophic 500-year flood. It's burned into the memory of many longtime Nashvillians. Water imagery has been a recurring theme for me ever since. Blues and greens punctuated by a vague overhead light and white and gold specks create the feeling of particles floating in deep water.
