ARTIST'S NOTE: "Punalu’u I" is one of two imagined seascape perspectives from altitude of the Punalu'u coast line at the edge of the southeastern coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Punalu’u is a stunning, yet rugged, black sand beach that is 'protected' because of nesting green sea turtles.
