Figurative abstract sculpture commissioned to custom fit the client's space. The design is inspired by my earlier sculpture, Venus. The client really liked Venus, but the sculpture needed to be larger to fit the space.

The sculpture was carved from blocks of Styrofoam and covered with epoxy resin and fiberglass and was finished using automotive paint and matte clear coat. To be certain the sculpture would be stable, I made the steel base heavy and wide. It weighs 60 lbs. and is 24”W x 14”D x 3.5”H. It is powder coated matte black and incorporates adjustable cushioned feet at each corner. The sculpture has a 1.25” pin extending from the bottom that fits into the base holding it securely.
