Sleepy Hollow adaptation, where all the characters are physically birds- Ichabod is, of course, a Crane, and the headless horseman is a Crow. The idea is that the birds in Sleepy Hollow have evolved and adapted past their need for flight, but the horseman is more feral and boasts an enormous and powerful wingspan.
