The Elfin Man is a poem, which inspired this piece, my Grandfather Sweet wrote that I find very inspiring. To me the Elfin man is casting his spell of wonder and joy back to everyone (us). I can certainly always use more wonder and joy!. The image is a silhouette of a crowd of people that I took in Victoria BC during their “Splash” concert. And the writing in the background is the poetry of my grandfather. The Elfin Man is holding gold threads, with the flowers symbolizing beauty–beauty that is fleeting but ever present.
