A Christmas commission celebrating summer on the Missouri River. My neighbor tasked me with doing three paintings of different views of her backyard as gifts to her grown kids. Every morning of scoping out the light was met with wildlife. The muskrat swam quietly by my feet and I just happened to have my good camera in hand.
