Refugees

"Refugees" is part of a large collection of work, originally exhibited in my solo show, "Home," at the Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery in Corning, NY. In this show, I explored the concept of "home," in modern society through the improvisational re-imagination of the iconic Log Cabin quilt block. The presence or absence of the traditional red center, representing the hearth fire or the warmth of the home, tells the story of each piece in this collection.
