This was the main courtyard at a castle that dated back to the 1200's in Italy. We stayed a week here with other artists painting, eating, sight seeing and making new friendships. We enjoy many home cooked meals with ingredients that were grown on location accompanied with delicious wines that was produced from their own vineyards. When I look at this painting that is what I will always remember.
