Hey there - I'm Nicole, your southern oil painter. I am a Baton Rouge native who earned her BFA in Painting & Drawing from LSU's College of Art and Design, while also studying in New York City, Hawaii, and Santa Barbara. With 11 years of experience as an art educator, I've sharpened my eye for technique and deepened my connection to the creative process.

My work is inspired by the present moment - recording and layering life as it unfolds. I experience space, relate to reality, and stay open to what emerges. I capture life as a conversation, transcribing connection and feeling. Colors, textures, light and relationships shift and evolve - as life is lived.
