This painting was inspired by the article in the NYT's magazine about women who rewrote their own stories and are pursuing truth. Radha Blank is a New York playwright who wrote, directed, produced, and starred in "The Forty-Year-Version", a comedy in black and white about a New York playwright named Radha Blank. Like Blanc, she was an off Broadway up and coming now finding herself teaching playwriting to high schoolers in Harlem.
