Meet Tubbs. This scene show Tubbs on his first day learning to swim (and fetch great sticks!)

This painting, which was a custom commission for a wonderful friend and collector, is based on a video taken by her son Ryan of his new dog, Tubbs swimming for the first time. It was an interesting challenge working my way from a video and a handful of photos to come up with this portrait. Loved the green gold water too! This was a gift for Ryan.
