Waterfalls fascinate me. They are both powerful and soothing. "Waterfall IV" is a digital photograph of Tankerhoosen Waterfall in Vernon, CT. The photo is layered with a monotype print inspired by the photo. The paper is infused with encaustic wax and mounted with wax to a hardboard panel. The surface is clear encaustic wax.
