This drawing of a tiger was a lot of fun. First was the challenge of the fur. Zoom over it and you can see that I scraped into the areas the direction that the fur was growning. This required some hours at the NEW Zoo in Green Bay, WI to study the hair grow patterns. The scraping technique also made the whiskers show up nicely. The stripes on each tiger are different, especially around the face. That is how each individual is identified.
