"Door County Cherries" Copyright 2019 Barbara J. Zipperer
It's morning in the cherry orchards and the sun is just starting to warm things up. It's cherry picking season in Door County! Grab a ice cream pail and tie it on around your waist. Now find that perfect tree that has not been picked over. You walk toward the far end of the orchard to find that tree. There it it! Handful by handful of cherries pour into your bucket. Some of them have dewdrops on them as they shine in sun. Yum! Yum!
