I constructed Reconfiguration 25 over two months, completing the sculpture the day before I permanently left my home in Switzerland. Previous pieces of the Les Reconfiguration series focused entirely on abstract, geometric compositions. Reconfiguration 25 is representational, depicting the sunset behind the Dents du Midi mountain range as seen from the balcony of my atelier.
