Jane E. Goldman’s fascination with light and the natural world grew out of observations of her surroundings in Dallas, Texas where she was born in 1951. Goldman earned her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin and has taught at Massachusetts College of Art, the University of California, Rice University, and Hartford Art School. She works with painting, printmaking, terrazzo, and ceramic tile. Though she is a multimedia artist, Goldman describes printmaking as “a way of life,” and has co-founded two print studios in Massachusetts: Artist’s Proof and Mixit Print Studio.
