"Chuti" or "Born" is a painting that symbolises the beginning and the end, meaning both life and death. When it is displayed at the entrance to TAAN, it indicates that when you enter the restaurant, you are at the beginning of the experience, and when you leave the restaurant, you are at the end of the experience. The naked body represents how we came to life with nothing and left the world with nothing. The red and black background accent depicts Buddhist beliefs about good and evil, as well as possible karma that is attached to us. Is this person bringing beauty and goodness to the world, or is she bringing evil and chaos with her? and where is she taking it? to the world of living, or the world of death? One of the reasons this person is female is that female represents mother nature, thus the nature of things like life and death, as well as the bearer of life, e.g. the child bearer.
