Jain Center of Greater Phoenix, 2008
The Jain Center of Greater Phoenix opened its first permanent temple in 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. The temple is dedicated to the Jinas Mahavira and Rishabhanata, and represents all sects of Jainism. A 41 foot manastambha stands in front of the temple as a monument to nonviolence, and the inner sanctum is topped by a 61-foot high shikhara.
