Chaturmukha Basadi
Similar to Dharnavihar, Ranakpur, this temple is also a four-fold temple where three images each, face the four cardinal directions. These are Aranatha, Mallinatha and Munisuvrata. These often appear together in temples in Karnataka indicating a sectarian preference. Large wooden light frames carrying oil lamps are placed in front of each of the four sides to light up the dark interior. Two rows of four pillars on all sides create two internal circumambulation pathways.
