STORY:

Painting with vibrancy has always been Elliott’s main focus in the studio, and splattering acrylics has been one of his favorite methods for filling his work with color and movement.

He has been developing this technique for five years, improving his composition, color, and depth along the way. Much like a Pollock, Elliott’s main influence for this style, viewing one of his splatters should cause one to get lost in the endless patterns and lines.

After a trip to Japan, Jake created a Metalwork series with paint containing metallic flake with gold, copper and silver.
