STORY:

Gil has always been intrigued by color recognizing that it can create movement and affect mood. His boldly painted works gradually overwhelmed the canvas leading him to explore what happens when colors moved into the surrounding space. He began to create three-dimensional, sculptural paintings. The color pallet, crafted wood base, canvas ribbons and plexiglass sheets and rods make each piece intriguing from all angels and is affected by airflow and humidity. In this way, it becomes a form of environmental art, being constantly shaped by natural elements.
