Viva New Orleans harmoniously blends visual imagery of Mexico and New Orleans through light, music, and color. Gallier Hall’s iconic architectural features are beautifully transformed using custom-made scenes, accompanied by an original music score which threads both cultures together. AVA reimagines New Orleans icons through Mexican handcrafts, using digital embroidery, tiles, tin, beads, glass, ironwork, feathers, and gold to illuminate Gallier Hall’s façade. Viva New Orleans highlights the tales, folklore, and traditions that bring us together.
