MacCash pays tribute to St. Charles Avenue, the historic streetcar line, the Audubon Park Zoo, the Latter Library, and the child in each of us. The stylized animals briefly escape from their home in the Audubon Park Zoo and change places with their human friends on the streetcar.

The artist has used color and shapes that interlock to form a puzzle-like tapestry. Just as the imaginary animals seem to be having a good time, the artist invites us to join the fun and see how many animals are included in his painting. How many can you find?

Commissioned for the Milton H. Latter Branch Public Library, the piece was such a success with the community that Dan Wilson, head of the New Orleans Public Library system, decided to commission a poster of the work, that was also produced by Arts New Orleans.
