Portal Garden is a video installation that transforms architectural space into a meditative portal. The installation uses fabricated surfaces that are projection mapped with video and act as a pop-up theater. The viewer walks through a life size arch and can stand on the aluminum portal. The video is a collection of different moments in nature that are sinking down into the ground. This includes short, 20- second moments that sink into each other such as abstract water movement, dolphin jumping, whale watching, jellyfish swimming, and other snippets.
