In the South, and New Orleans in particular, if you stroll through most neighborhoods you’ll see people sitting outside taking in the ambience of the less frantic, breakneck pace of most metropolises. This continues the music related theme of most of my work over the past 5 years as the image is of soul icons Al Green and Ann Peebles rooted inside of a tree.
